Training for prosecutors of the Donetsk Prosecutor's Office: Conducting effective OSINT investigations

On March 5, as part of the advanced training for prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, LingvaLexa NGO conducted a training on the use of OSINT tools in procedural guidance and pre-trial investigation.

Key Training Components:

  • Familiarization with OSINT Tools: how to use a diverse array of OSINT tools for empowering  investigators to collect and analyze information from publicly available sources;
  • Practical Exercises: engagement in hands-on activities and mastering OSINT geolocation tools and working with the registers through various exercises;
  • Simulation of OSINT Investigations: Working collaboratively, prosecutors simulated real-world OSINT investigations and gaining confidence in using OSINT effectively.
