"Conducting Effective OSINT Investigations: Methods and Practice" - training for Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office
On 25-26 April, regular training on OSINT investigations was held for prosecutors of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office by investigators from NGO LingvaLexa.
The training covered the following aspects:
- Professional, methodological, and ethical principles of OSINT investigations;
- Assessment of digital threats and risks;
- Searching for information in registers;
- Mastering OSINT tools in social media;
- Identifying geolocation from photos, etc.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the audience tested OSINT tools and methods, performing exercises to find information from photos, graffiti, tattoos, and other specific details.
