Interviews with Anna Vyshniakova, Head of LingvaLexa, and the organization's expert with the journalist Scott Douglas Jacobsen published on international platforms

Representatives of the NGO LingvaLexa continue to focus the international community's attention on the topic of Russian propaganda. Two interviews related to the organization's activities were published on leading international platforms.

The head of the organization, Anna Vyshniakova, gave an interview to The Good Men Project entitled “Russian Federation Propaganda as War”, in which she spoke about the impact of Russian propaganda on children and youth. The main topics included Russia's use of youth military programs in the occupied territories, such as Yunarmiya, as well as the use of social media, such as TikTok and Russian-made video games, which portray Russia as a hero and the West as an enemy, to spread manipulative ideological narratives. Anna emphasized the violations of international humanitarian law that pose a long-term threat to the younger generation.

Anna also touched upon aspects of Russian propaganda such as the misuse of the “denazification” narrative and the rhetoric of cultural sovereignty used to justify Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Another important interview with an expert from LingvaLexa was published on the International Policy Digest platform under the title “How Russia Uses Video Games as Modern Propaganda”. In this conversation, the organization's expert explained how video games are becoming a modern propaganda tool. The interview details the mechanism of influence through interactive platforms that are used to normalize violence, create distorted historical narratives, and shape the image of the enemy. Particular emphasis is placed on how these methods influence young people around the world, even outside of Russia.

The publication of these interviews is an important contribution to the fight against information aggression. They help to draw the attention of the international community to the dangerous methods of manipulation used by Russia and contribute to the search for effective mechanisms to counteract this phenomenon.
